The State of Hesse Non-smoking Law will also apply to Frankfurt Airport effective October 1, 2007. This means that smoking will be prohibited in the airport terminals. For passengers and visitors wishing to smoke, areas with ashtrays are available at all entrances and exits to the terminals. The smoking prohibition will also apply within the transit areas. Nevertheless several smoking cubicles will be tested during the next months in order to offer an additional service for our smoking customers.
