HotSpot, the public WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) offering of T-Mobile and T-Com, lets you surf the Internet with your laptop and, for example, read the latest business news, get stock market prices, download global news articles, or find out what the weather is like at your destination. Business travelers can productively spend their time waiting by reading or writing e-mail or downloading the latest presentations. This WLAN service is available in all publicly accessible parts of the airport.

All T-Com and T-Mobile customers can take advantage of this offering. If you are a T-Mobile customer and would like to take advantage of the HotSpot billing service frequently, also outside Germany, you can obtain a permanently valid access code. You can order it by texting the keyword "open" to the number 9526 from your mobile phone. You will then receive, also by text message, a user name and password which you can use right away to log in from anywhere in the world. There are no extra registration or other fixed fees. If you don't have a T-Com or T-Mobile contract, you can use your credit card on the HotSpot portal at Frankfurt Airport to purchase a "HotSpot Pass" good for one, three or 24 hours.
