Centrality of location makes the Mönchhof site the ideal distribution hub for goods and services to be delivered throughout the entire Rhine-Main region.   Therefore, the concept for utilizing the site focuses primarily on logistics, large-scale commercial uses, and airport-related enterprises. .The site's development is expected to create up to 5,000 new jobs.  This will also make it attractive for complementary service providers such as hotels, restaurants, and other supply facilities.
