Continuing your trip is easy.
To get your connecting flight, you really only have to one thing: go straight to the gate and board the plane. Whether you already have a boarding card or not. If you already have a boarding card for your connecting flight, in many cases it will tell you what gate to go to. If not, you can find it out by consulting one of our flight display boards or electronic kiosks, which always provide up-to-the-minute information. Our service personnel at the information counters will of course also be happy to help you.
Aviation security controls: Because of increased security standards for some flights you and your hand luggage may be required to undergo renewed screening before your onward flight. You are kindly requested to allow some extra time for this. Ask your airline whether this applies for your flight.
If you have more time to spend between flights in Frankfurt and don't have your boarding card yet, many airlines (including Lufthansa) let you check in earlier: at special transfer counters that you can find in transit area B in Terminal 1. We also have a few nice suggestions on how to pass the time.
When you have to change terminals:
If you have to go to the other terminal to catch your connecting flight, our free Sky Line train shuttles between the two terminals every two minutes. You don't even need to leave the transit zone to use it.
