The third generation is getting ready to take off.

We're ready to take the next big step: ownership of the area formerly used by the U.S. military passed to Fraport in 2005, thus opening up virtually unlimited possibilities for expanding the airport further. Occupying 153 hectares, Terminal 3 will constitute a new center for 25 million passengers a year, with which all other facilities will grow apace:

• 75 new aircraft positions,
• a new landing runway,
• a new motorway access road,
• parking buildings, etc.

Plus another 16 hectares for installing cargo and forwarding facilities, which will increase the total land area of Cargo City to 141 hectares. We're on our way to new heights.
